Gus Hansen's Rollercoaster Ride on Full Tilt: Big Wins and Losses
Gus Hansen's return to Full Tilt has been nothing short of dramatic. After the site's relaunch, Hansen quickly made his presence known, starting with a PLO $10/20 game and then moving to $1,000/2,000 2-7 Triple Draw, where Alex Luna joined him.
Hansen's fortunes fluctuated wildly. In one session, he lost around $40,000 in PLO $50/100 but then won $200,000 from Kyle Ray in Omaha Hi-Lo $2,000/4,000. However, he also faced significant losses, including $323,420 to Sebastian Sabich and O Fortuna PLS in 2-7 Triple Draw $1,500/3,000 over 1,967 hands.
Despite these losses, Hansen showed resilience, winning $678,906 in Omaha Hi-Lo $2,000/4,000 against SallyWoo. His total loss since the opening of Full Tilt stands at $1,937,355 over 17,071 hands. Viktor Blom also made an appearance, playing 290 hands and losing $65,616 before closing the client. Tom Dwan arrived in London on Saturday, adding to the high-stakes action on Full Tilt.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
