GGPoker Wins Poker Operator of the Year at 2025 EGR Awards

GGPoker has once again proven its dominance in the online poker world by winning the Poker Operator of the Year title at the 2025 EGR Awards. The prestigious event, often referred to as the “Oscars of the iGaming industry,” took place on October 22, 2025, at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. This marks GGPoker's second consecutive year winning this highly sought-after honor, having also secured the title in 2024.

GGPoker triumphed over notable competitors such as BetMGM Poker and Coolbet. The EGR Operator Awards recognize excellence in various categories, including innovation, commitment to safer gambling, and overall industry impact. The voting process, overseen by Deloitte, ensures transparency and fairness, with an impartial panel of judges evaluating the nominees.

GGPoker's achievements are highlighted by its World Festival, which awarded over $324 million in prizes with 5.6 million entries. The operator has consistently broken records for the largest prize pools and biggest tournament series. In September 2025, GGPoker celebrated a major milestone with over half a million players logged in simultaneously, reflecting its exceptional growth trajectory. GGPoker has the largest online poker room by cash game traffic, having surpassed PokerStars about four years ago. The operator has also consistently broken records for the largest prize pools, the biggest tournament series, and total series payouts exceeding $300 million. GGPoker's partnership with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and its strategic expansion in markets where competitors have faced stricter regulatory barriers have also contributed to its success. GGPoker now joins this elite group, claiming victories in 2024 and 2025 and becoming the fourth poker operator to have won an award in this category since 2013.
