Full-Ring Poker in 2026: Where to Find Classic 9-Max Games

Twenty years ago, most online and live poker games were played at 9-max tables. Many players prefer full-ring games because they have lower dispersion and simpler play.

The GipsyTeam forum user gerakla notes that the dispersion in full-ring is almost non-existent. He recommends a minimum bankroll of 20 buy-ins for comfortable play at NL50-100. gerakla advises that transitioning from 8-max to full-ring is easier than the reverse. He also notes that there is currently little full-ring game available, with NL200 being the highest limit.

WPN network offers full-ring games primarily for US players, with peak hours from 23:00 to 11:00 MSK. Stake Poker is known for having a significant amount of full-ring games, especially in the evening and night. However, Stake Poker has a high rake and no rakeback, and its promotions are geared towards casual players.

Chico network has seen a shift towards 8-max tables and ante games, reducing the availability of classic full-ring. TOLDO notes that full-ring games with ante increase dispersion and require a more conservative bankroll management. He advises that full-ring games with ante offer higher win rates against weaker players. PokerOK offers full-ring games with ante, with many tables active up to NL1,000.
