Flutter Entertainment Sells Oddschecker for $214.3 Million
Flutter Entertainment, the parent company of PokerStars, has announced the sale of its online betting service Oddschecker. The service, created at the end of the 1990s, currently operates in the USA and the UK. Oddschecker processes up to 8,000 lines and updates 260,000,000 coefficients daily, covering 10% of the entire online betting market in the UK.
The preliminary deal amount between Flutter Entertainment and Bruin Capital is 214.3 million dollars. Bruin Capital will pay 186.7 million dollars for the acquisition of Oddschecker, with an additional 27.7 million dollars to be paid later if certain conditions are met. The deal is expected to be finalized in the third quarter of this year.
This sale marks a significant change for Flutter Entertainment, which has undergone numerous transformations in recent years, including a merger with Stars Group.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
