Fedor Holz Wins Triton Super High Roller in London

Fedor Holz has made a triumphant return to the poker scene, winning the $25,000 7-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series London. Holz defeated Chris Brewer heads-up in the final, securing a prize of $609,853. Brewer, who had a stellar performance at the 2023 WSOP, agreed an ICM chop with Holz before the heads-up battle, leaving him with $600,647.

This victory marks Holz's first Super High Roller live tournament win since 2017. The 30-year-old German star has won over $3 million in 2023 so far, indicating a strong comeback to the professional poker circuit. Holz's motivation for continuing to compete comes from his love for the game and the thrill of competition. He expressed his sadness when he busts out, not for the money, but for the end of the playing experience.

Holz's return to the big time is notable, as he had announced his retirement from professional poker in 2017 after a remarkable run in 2016 where he banked $16 million from live tournaments alone. His recent performances suggest a quiet but significant return to the high-stakes poker world.
