Ethan 'Rampage' Yau Joins WPT Global as Ambassador

YouTube poker star Ethan 'Rampage' Yau has been signed as the first dedicated online poker content and brand ambassador for WPT Global. Yau was named Best Vlogger and Best Poker Personality at the 2022 Global Poker Awards. Yau's rise to prominence saw him start out in low-stakes games and work his way up to the nosebleeds, seeing him recently win $500k cash game sessions and $900k tournament wins. Yau plays online out of Montreal under the username rampunts.

Yau has just over $1.8 million in live tournament winnings, including an $894k takedown of the WPT World Championship $25k High Roller last December, and a $197k Poker Masters title win last September.

Argus Riven

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
