EducaPoker Ends Partnership with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker
EducaPoker has announced significant changes to its affiliation with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, effective June 7, 2015. The decision comes after PokerStars reduced EducaPoker's commissions by nearly 90%, making the partnership unsustainable. Starting June 7, 2015, all tracked PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker accounts older than two years will be deactivated and unable to earn EducaPuntos.
This decision follows a series of commission cuts by PokerStars, including a reduction of more than 50% after Amaya's acquisition of the company. New PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker accounts will not earn EducaPuntos.
EducaPoker has been affiliated with PokerStars for over ten years, creating thousands of accounts and supporting the room's efforts to grow online poker. The changes will affect the structure of Aureka, which is currently evaluating different options to adapt to the new situation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
