DonkPredator Wins Big in November Poker Marathon

Lars Romundstad, known as DonkPredator, had a remarkable November, earning approximately $82,000 in total, including bonuses and rebates. His journey was not without its challenges, as he faced significant fluctuations in his earnings.

On November 27, Romundstad's earnings dropped to $32,000 due to a series of lost all-ins. The following day, his earnings fell further to $35,600 after several more lost all-ins. Despite these setbacks, Romundstad received help from Murzilka_rus, who contributed to his earnings on November 28. In a significant hand, Romundstad won $1128.80 against Murzilka_rus, helping to turn his fortunes around.

By December 1, Romundstad's earnings reached $39,987, just shy of the $40,000 mark. However, he faced issues with PokerStars confirming his total earnings, leading to an audit. Despite these challenges, Romundstad's final earnings were confirmed to be $40,047. Alexander 'Joiso' Kostritsyin commented that DonkPredator is a high-level player with impressive win rates. Aleksey 'LuckyGump' Makarov noted that the odds for the marathon were unfairly high.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
