Dmitry Ganin: Why Kiev is the Best Place for Poker
Dmitry Ganin, the organizer and inspiration behind the URT poker series, has shared his expectations, hopes, and plans ahead of the Fall Cup URT. The event will take place in Kiev from September 24 to October 2.
Ganin highlighted that the MIX tournament, featuring alternating levels of Texas Hold'em and Omaha, will be a unique event during the Fall Cup. This format is a first for their series. He also emphasized that Kiev and Krechatik are the best places for poker in the CIS region.
Participants of the corresponding tournaments can join the URT freerolls, with the chance to win an entry to the November Grand Final. The Grand Final will feature an increased buy-in for the main tournament, aiming to attract more high-stakes players and increase guarantees.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
