Daniel Negreanu Wins Wynn Millions High Roller for $216,000

Daniel Negreanu had a remarkable late-night victory, winning event 2 of the Wynn Millions High Roller series. The tournament, held at the Wynn Las Vegas, had a $15,000 buy-in and saw 24 players account for 40 entries, with only six making it to the money.

Notable players who did not make it to the money included Dan Smith, Jake Schindler, Erik Seidel, Alex Foxen, and Sergio Aido. The latter bust out on the money bubble, which Daniel Negreanu described on Twitter as “an absurd bubble 7-handed with 3 guys under 3 big blinds”.

Ren Lin finished in third place, earning $96,000. Sergei Reixach finished in second place, earning $144,000. Brock Wilson finished in fourth place, earning $66,000. Sean Winter finished in fifth place, earning $48,000. Ali Imsirovic finished in sixth place, earning $30,000.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
