Daniel Negreanu Speaks Out on The Lodge Raid and Kalshi Poker Markets
Daniel Negreanu released a new video on his YouTube channel on Monday. In it, he expressed his views on the recent raid on The Lodge card club in Round Rock, Texas. Negreanu doubted that those involved with the club were involved in money laundering, as alleged by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Negreanu said he thought The Lodge card club was probably run well and believed players who weren’t able to cash in chips at the time of the raid will eventually be paid.
Negreanu became a brand ambassador for Kalshi in September. He is pushing Kalshi to offer more poker-related markets. Kalshi introduced a market on whether the 2026 WSOP main event would hit 10,000 entries. Negreanu is hoping that even more poker markets are released on the platform as the WSOP approaches.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
