Daniel Negreanu Folds in Intense Poker Showdown

Daniel Negreanu did not make it into the prize zone of the top-7 tournament Super High Roller Bowl. Despite this, the poker player showcased his skills in an exciting hand.

On the 4th level, there were 34 players left and the blinds were 1,000/2,000. Daniel Negreanu received a pocket card of cherry valets and tens and immediately raised to 5,000. Nikita Bodiakovsky, the most successful Belarusian player, called with pocket nines. The flop was 6-7-8, which favored Nikita more than Daniel. However, Daniel Negreanu bet another 5,000 on the flop and received a raise from Nikita to 16,000. Daniel added the necessary amount of chips to the pot, and on the turn, a nine appeared. Both players had strong combinations: Nikita had a set of nines, and Daniel had a straight. Both players checked, and on the river, an eight appeared, giving Nikita a full house. Daniel Negreanu checked again, and his opponent pushed 60,000 chips to the center of the table. After carefully considering, Daniel folded his cards.
