Daniel Negreanu's Top and Bottom Picks for Las Vegas Poker Rooms

Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker player, recently shared his favorite and least favorite poker rooms in Las Vegas. His top pick is the PokerGO studio next to the Aria, which he describes as the best poker-playing experience in the city. Negreanu praises the Wynn Casino poker room for its tournament series, spacious tables, and overall quality. He also notes the Paris Las Vegas poker room for its niceness, despite Bally's being lower end. The Mirage poker room holds a special place in Negreanu's heart as it is where he started his poker career.

However, Negreanu considers the Bellagio the worst place to play poker in Las Vegas. He criticizes it for its cramped and loud environment, stating that it has not kept up with other resorts in terms of amenities and facilities. The Venetian, owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corp, founded by Sheldon Adelson, is mentioned as the most luxurious hotel and casino resort in Las Vegas, with a large poker room. Negreanu also mentions Resorts World, which he has not played at but has heard amazing reviews about.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
