Daniel Negreanu vs. Doug Polk: Heads-Up Poker Battle Announced
Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk, two prominent figures in the poker world, have announced a heads-up poker battle to settle their long-standing feud. The conflict between the two players began when Negreanu did not recommend Polk's Upswing Poker training course.
Doug Polk officially ended his poker career last year and has since stopped releasing content on his YouTube channel. The heads-up battle will feature no-limit hold'em with blinds of 200$/400$ and up to 25,000 hands. The match is set to be broadcast live, with PokerShares already taking bets on the outcome.
The battle is scheduled for no earlier than fall, as Negreanu is actively participating in the online World Series of Poker. Polk has agreed to this timeline, stating it will give him more time to prepare. Fans are eagerly awaiting the high-stakes showdown between these two poker legends.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
