Circa Sports Partners with Survivor Sweat for Football Contest Marketplace
Circa Sports has named Survivor Sweat as the official and exclusive marketplace for the Circa Survivor, Circa Million, and Circa Grandissimo handicapping contests. This partnership allows NFL fans to cash in on football contests without making selections themselves. Survivor Sweat is now the official secondary trading market of Circa Sports, providing a platform where contest participants can sell part or all of their entries. Buyers purchase an entry in the hopes that the selection will yield profits at the end of the season, similar to how backers invest in poker players.
The $1,000 Circa Survivor contest has seen significant growth, from 1,390 entries in its first season to a record 25,017 entries this season, with a prize pool of more than $25 million. The $1,000 Circa Million and the $100,000-entry Circa Grandissimo handicapping contests drew 30,884 entries and a record $38.7 million in combined prize pools this year.
Poker players have dominated the Circa and Westgate handicapping contests in recent years. Notable poker players like Shannon Shorr, Jason Somerville, Galen Hall, and Dylan Wilkerson have had a share of a winning entry in the Circa Survivor. The contest also saw interesting events, such as high-stakes pro Sean Perry rejecting a chop deal in 2024 and poker players Jeremy Wien, Jeff Abraham, Mike Buchmiller, and Russell Rosenblum chopping the contest in 2023.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
