Chris Moneymaker Wins Triton Poker Series in Montenegro
The Triton Poker Series in Montenegro kicked off with the GG Million$ Live tournament, which had a buy-in of $25,000. There were 163 entries, significantly less than the 300 entries in a similar tournament held in Korea in March.
Chris Moneymaker, known for his poker resurgence, won the GG Million$ Live tournament. Moneymaker, who had previously been a finalist in the online tournament The Venom, was the chip leader going into the final table. He sold stakes in the Triton tournament on PokerStake and returned the money to his backers after his victory.
The Mystery Bounty tournament, with a $40,000 buy-in, also saw notable performances. Artem 'fokus_nik' Lasovsky from Belarus won a significant pot. Nikita Kuznetsov and Artem Lasovsky played a big hand against each other, showcasing the intense competition at the Triton Poker Series.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
