Caribbean Poker Party 2021 Cancelled Due to COVID-19 Restrictions
The Caribbean Poker Party (CPP) is a major poker series held annually on the Bahamas. The main event of the 2019 CPP had a $10,000,000 guarantee. In 2020, the CPP series was held online.
Rob Yong announced the cancellation of the 2021 CPP via Twitter, stating that the event has been postponed to 2022 and will be held at Baha Mar Resorts on the Bahamas. The cancellation is due to COVID-19 restrictions at Baha Mar Resorts, which prevent the venue from fully accommodating guests.
Despite the cancellation of the CPP, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is still planned to take place in Las Vegas. Vaccination is mandatory for participants of the WSOP 2021.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
