Brian Yoon Wins Fifth WSOP Bracelet in 7-Card Stud Championship

Brian Yoon has added another prestigious title to his collection, winning his fifth WSOP gold bracelet by taking down the $10k 7-Card Stud Championship. The victory earned him $311,433.

The tournament attracted 131 entries and offered a substantial prizepool of $1,209,000, with the top 20 players sharing the winnings. Notable players in the field included Daniel Negreanu, Allen Kessler, and Eli Elezra. Rob Mizrachi was the unfortunate bubble boy, losing out to Matt Vengrin’s full house, which ensured a min cash of $16,378 for the remaining players.

Chad Eveslage, who had won back-to-back Dealer’s Choice events, fell in 12th spot to Ben Yu. Yu's hand: 8♥ 8♦ 7♠ / Q♥ J♦ Q♣ Q♦, Eveslage's hand: K♣ 5♥ 3♣ / A♣ 5♠ 5♣ 7♣. The final hand saw Dan Shak's 9♠8♠/9♥8♣2♣A♥/4♥ against Yoon's A♦6♦/K♣Q♣J♥10♥/5♥. Yoon's sixth street Broadway straight was good enough when Shak bricked.
