Brian Rast Wins Third Poker Players Championship Title
Brian Rast has become only the second player to take down the prestigious Poker Players Championship title three times, his victory last night worth $1,324,747 and adding a sixth WSOP gold bracelet to his already impressive poker resume.
The PPC is a $50k buy-in event and is considered one of the most important tournaments of the year. Talal Shakerchi was the chip leader among the remaining five players who returned for the fifth day of play.
Phil Ivey was eliminated from the tournament by Talal Shakerchi. Brian Rast is one of 10 people short-listed for the 2023 Poker Hall of Fame induction.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
