Brekstyn Schutten, an ICU nurse from Grand Rapids, Michigan, won the final Wynn Millions Highroller event, taking home $219,300. The event featured 43 entries with a $15,000 buy-in, creating a $645,000 prize pool. Schutten defeated Stanley Tang in the final hand, with Schutten holding A♠ 4♣ and Tang holding K♠ 7♠.
Schutten's victory marks his second major win in the past year, having previously won $1,261,095 at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. This win also pushes his total earnings over the $2 million mark.
Meanwhile, the Wynn Millions Main Event continues with 54 players remaining. Thomas Boivin leads the chip counts in the chase for the massive $1,655,952 top prize, with 2nd place also worth 7-figures, a cool $1,093,314. Schutten, along with other notable players like Shaun Deeb and Vanessa Kade, are among those chasing Boivin.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
