Brazilians Dominate EPT Barcelona: Top Players Compete
The EPT (Europa Poker Tour) Barcelona event is popular among Brazilian poker players. The event has seen a significant presence of Brazilian talent, with many top players making the trip to Barcelona. Marcelinho Mesqueu won the main event at the EPT Monte Carlo, which inspired many Brazilian players to compete in the EPT Barcelona.
Some of the notable Brazilian players at the EPT Barcelona include Rafael Morais, Felipe Ketzer, Kelvin Kerber, Peter Patrício, Lauriê Tournier, Peterson Machado, Alexandre Vargas, Rodrigo Semeghini, and Brener Vicente. These players are known for their skills and have made a name for themselves in the poker community.
The Samba poker team, for example, organizes internal races to encourage a large number of players to participate in the event. This initiative has helped to foster a strong Brazilian presence at the EPT Barcelona, making it one of the most anticipated events for Brazilian poker enthusiasts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
