BGaming Expands Sustainability Efforts to Portugal with WE CARE. WE ACT Initiative
BGaming has expanded its sustainability commitment to Portugal as part of the recently concluded SBC Summit. The initiative, called WE CARE. WE ACT, has gone beyond the exhibition floor at SBC Summit. BGaming is supporting VIVA Lab, aiding the non-profit organization in helping educate students and prevent discarded plastic from reaching the environment.
BGaming has similarly supported the non-profit organization VIVA Lab as part of the same effort and initiative, as well as joined a beach clean-up in Lisbon, Portugal, where the event took place. Alexandra Baltazar, Chief Education Officer at VIVA Lab Porto, said, commenting on the support: 'This partnership has been very important for VIVA Lab because it allows us to reach and inspire more young people through Plastic Play, using plastic recycling as a hands-on tool for learning about sustainability and the circular economy.'
BGaming CMO Kate Puteiko had this to add, commenting on the project: 'WE CARE. WE ACT is not just a slogan for us; it is a principle we operate by. Lisbon is such a marvelous city, and it welcomes the entire industry every year for the expo. We want to make sure that we, as part of the industry, give back to Portugal.' BGaming has been extensively using digital materials shared via a QR code, which has allowed the company to save 16 kg of paper. Furthermore, BGaming included a line made from organic, eco-friendly cotton, as well as custom poker sets made from 100% recycled plastic, with the gifts shared by BGaming using a total of 7 kg of recycled plastic.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
