Arthur Martirosyan Leads Final Table at WPT High Roller Opener
The WPT Online series kicked off on PartyPoker this weekend, drawing a significant number of Russian players. Among them, Arthur Martirosyan has made a strong impression by leading the final table of the WPT High Roller Opener.
The WPT Opener tournament features four buy-in levels, ranging from $11 to $10,300, making it accessible to players with varying bankrolls. The high roller event with a $10,300 buy-in has been particularly exciting, attracting 95 high rollers. Notable players who have already exited the tournament include Kristen Bicknell, who finished 12th and earned $25,000, Adrian Mateos, who finished 11th and earned $30,000, and Nikita Bodiakovsky, who finished 10th and earned $30,000.
At the final table, Alexander Girsa, who won the SCOOP 2020 Main Event in May, has the fewest chips. Other prominent players at the final table include Serhi Reih, Pablo Silva, and Laiso Buitas. The finalists will take a short break before returning to the table tonight at 9 PM to determine the champion.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
