Anna Haight Denies Involvement in Political Scandal as Las Vegas Casinos Reopen
Anna Haight, a former poker player, has found herself in the midst of a political scandal. Known for her strong support for Donald Trump, Haight has denied any involvement in the operations of Project Veritas, an ultra-right activist group accused of spying on FBI employees and gathering discrediting information on Trump's opponents. Haight has threatened to sue media outlets, including PokerNews and CardPlayer, for spreading false information.
Haight has also been critical of the poker community, calling many players "pathetic" and "losers." She has expressed her disdain for the community, stating that she is grateful to have been "saved" from it.
Meanwhile, casinos in Las Vegas are gradually returning to pre-pandemic levels. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has allowed vaccinated people to return to normal activities without masks or social distancing. Casinos Wynn and MGM have resumed 24-hour operations and returned to pre-pandemic revenue levels due to high vaccination rates among employees. The Bellagio and most other Las Vegas casinos have removed barriers between players at tables.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
