Andrew Lichtenberger Wins Venetian High Roller Event #6
Andrew Lichtenberger has been crowned the champion of the Venetian High Roller Event #6. After a three-way deal, Lichtenberger walked away with his second title and a first-place prize of $125,350.
The event attracted 14 participants, creating a prize pool of $350,000. This pool was intended for the two finalists who made it into the in-the-money zone.
Chris Brewer was eliminated in fourth place, known as the bubble, after sending 139,000 chips to the center of the table. He held A-6 against Kary Katz's pocket queens. Katz received a set on the flop, but was in danger due to a possible flush from Brewer. The turn and river did not favor Brewer, leading to his elimination from the tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
