Alex Foxen: No Difference Between $600 and $100k Tournaments

Alex Foxen is currently one of the leaders in the WSOP Player of the Year race. He does not specifically plan his tournament schedule to target this title but is open to playing additional tournaments if his chances of winning increase.

Foxen believes he has an advantage in the Player of the Year race due to his strong performance in high roller tournaments, while his main competitors focus on mixed games. He is open to showing his results to confirm he finished the series in profit, as he has already done on Twitter.

Foxen and his wife, Kristy, are the first couple to win bracelets in open tournaments. He believes that living with a top poker player like Kristy is a unique experience that helps him professionally. Foxen does not differentiate between tournaments based on their buy-in, focusing instead on stack depth, opponent styles, and structure. He supports the implementation of shot clocks in the main tournament, believing it will become a standard in the future.
