Alek Stasiak Wins Two WSOP 2020 Bracelets in One Week
Alek Stasiak, a Canadian poker player from Quebec, made history by becoming the first two-time champion of WSOP 2020. He won his first bracelet in a $10 WSOP Online event, earning $343,000. Just a week later, Stasiak secured his second victory in the WSOP Online Event #52 for $1,000, winning $273,500.
WSOP Online Event #52 had 2,006 entries, forming a prize pool of $1,905,000. The event attracted many notable players, including Julien Martini, Yuri Dzhivilevski, Ryan Riess, David Peters, Brandon Adams, and Chris Moorman. However, none of them managed to win the final all-ins.
In the final stages of the tournament, Alek Stasiak faced off against Kunal Bhatia in a heads-up match. Despite Bhatia's strong start, Stasiak's strategic play and a crucial king on the river secured him his second bracelet. Stasiak's remarkable achievement highlights his skill and determination in the world of online poker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
