Poker Pro Masters II: Meet Alberto Núñez, Known as LDNTrader
Alberto Núñez, known as LDNTrader, has qualified for the Poker Pro Masters II tournament. He first learned about online poker in 2007 from an American trading forum. His initial steps into the poker world were on Titan Poker, where he achieved some quick results in tournaments. Later, he moved to PokerStars and Full Tilt, focusing mainly on Sit & Go (S&G) and Heads-Up (HU) games. His best period in poker was before Full Tilt Poker closed, where he was consolidated in medium HUs.
Núñez has been playing poker on PokerStars and PartyPoker in NL100 or 200 SH and Sit&Go of 6-max and HU. He enjoys playing against weaker opponents and avoids high-level players whenever possible. Núñez's favorite online poker player is hosnimubarak, whom he followed on Full Tilt Poker. He admires hosnimubarak's skill in HU games and wishes he had learned more from him. His favorite live poker player is Jason Mercier.
When asked about his poker goals, Núñez mentioned that he once considered becoming a professional poker player but acknowledged that it requires either immense talent or endless dedication, neither of which he possesses. He enjoys playing poker casually and participating in events like the Poker Pro Masters II.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
