Singapore to Open World's First AI-Powered Casino
SenseTime, a Chinese AI company founded in 2014, is developing an AI-powered casino. The first AI casino will be built at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. The casino will feature robot dealers and cameras to ensure fair play.
The system has difficulty distinguishing between staff members due to identical uniforms. The cameras need to capture high-quality images, which they currently struggle with. SenseTime assures that data is used only for identity verification and statistical tracking.
There are currently no casinos where robots have fully replaced human dealers. SenseTime's clients include Xiaomi, Huawei, and Alibaba.
