Adam 'Roothlus' Levi: From Poker Pro to NFT Enthusiast
Adam Levi, known as Roothlus, is a name familiar to many in the poker community, especially those who remember the 'Black Friday' era. Levi was considered one of the strongest tournament players during that time. However, his poker journey took a turn when he shifted his focus to cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Levi is deeply involved in the NFT space. He is particularly enthusiastic about projects like CloneX and LionSharePoker, which aims to integrate NFTs with poker. Levi mentioned that while he doesn't consider himself an expert in NFTs, he finds the intersection of NFTs and poker particularly interesting.
Levi recently quit his job as an analyst at Apruvd to pursue his interests in NFTs and occasional high-stakes poker tournaments. He reflected on his poker career, mentioning notable hands and his mentorship under Chad 'lilholdem954' Batiste. Levi credits Batiste for much of his poker success, highlighting their innovative strategies and long hours of grinding together.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
