32Red Poker Shuts Down: What Happens Next?
32Red Poker will cease operations on May 19, 2024, as part of the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) shutdown. The network, which includes 16 different poker rooms, is closing down, forcing many rooms to either join other networks or shut down entirely. 32Red Poker is part of this shutdown and will no longer operate as a poker platform.
Players can withdraw their funds both before and after May 19, 2024. The 32Red website will continue to operate its casino and betting services, so players' accounts will remain accessible for transactions. 32Red Poker is advising players to join Unibet Poker, as both are part of the Kindred Group. However, poker professional Phillip Huxley disagrees with the closure, stating that 32Red Poker has a large community and unique player pool, making it unlikely that players will easily transition to Unibet.
In the lead-up to its closure, 32Red Poker is hosting free tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of 3,000€. The tournament, named 3,000€ Fish Party, starts every evening at 9 PM and has a prize pool of 60 tickets worth 50€ each. The tournament is open to all players and does not require a password to enter. With only three of these events remaining before the shutdown, players have a limited time to participate.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
