Reverse implied odds in poker
Definition
The risk of losing extra money on later streets when you hit a hand that is still second best.
Reverse implied odds are why weak top pairs and low flushes can be expensive: when you improve, the opponent who beats you may be willing to put in a lot more money.
They are one reason to avoid calling with dominated hands, such as a weak ace against a stronger ace.
