PFR in poker
Definition
Preflop Raise: the percentage of hands in which a player raises before the flop.
PFR is always lower than or equal to VPIP. A tight-aggressive player has a PFR close to the VPIP, for example 18/15 (VPIP/PFR), while a large gap, such as 30/10, marks a loose and passive player.
It is one of the two main HUD statistics, together with VPIP.
