Tournaments
Freeroll in poker
Definition
A tournament with no buy-in that still pays real prizes.
Freerolls are used by rooms to attract new players. Entry is often limited to those who meet some conditions, such as a minimum deposit or a rake threshold, and the prize pool is small.
The fields are very large and loose, so results are driven mostly by luck, but they cost nothing to play.
