Final table in poker
Definition
The last table of a tournament, with the remaining players, usually between six and nine.
At the final table every elimination moves players up the payout ladder, which makes ICM central. Jumps in prize money between places make players cautious, and the best play depends on the stack sizes at the table.
In big events the final table is often televised and may be played at a later date, a format the WSOP Main Event used in 2008–2016 under the name November Nine.
