The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has introduced two new products: the WSOP+ membership and the WSOP Academy. These initiatives aim to enhance the player experience during live events and provide resources for skill improvement.

WSOP+ Membership: Quality Benefits at a Discount

The WSOP+ membership program offers three tiers: Free, Basic, and Premium. The Free membership is automatically available to everyone with a GG Pass account and includes access to many features of the WSOP Academy. The WSOP+ Basic membership costs $9.99 per month and offers additional challenges in WSOP Academy, a 5% discount at the WSOP store, and access to the Plus Lounge once per day. The WSOP+ Premium package, priced at $49.99 per month, provides unlimited access to the Premium Lounge, full access to all WSOP Academy features, and special merchandise at the WSOP Store.

WSOP Academy — The Next Generation of Poker Training

The WSOP Academy is a standalone app available for free on the App Store and Google Play. It is designed to help players learn the game from the ground up, with a focus on gamification. The app includes a Poker IQ evaluation, training units, and challenges against notable poker players. Users can log in with their GG Pass account and start with a short quiz to evaluate their Poker IQ. The Learning Path section contains numerous units, starting with basic topics and progressing to more complex strategies. As users complete units and challenges, they earn XP points to level up and compete against other players. The WSOP+ membership unlocks additional features in the WSOP Academy, including more High Roller Table hands and exclusive challenges against players like Daniel Negreanu, Maria Ho, and Michael Mizrachi.
