WPT Russia Sochi: Historic Poker Event to Kick Off in January 2019
The World Poker Tour (WPT) Russia Sochi event will take place from January 18 to 27, 2019. This historic event will feature a main tournament with a guarantee of 90,000,000 rubles. The WPT Opener will have a buy-in of 33,000 rubles and a guarantee of 30,000,000 rubles. The WPT DeepStacks will have a buy-in of 99,000 rubles and a guarantee of 30,000,000 rubles.
The first 100 players to pay the buy-in for the main event in PPL dollars will receive a $300 PPL bonus. Additionally, players who correctly guess the number of entries in the main event by December 31 will receive a $1,000 PPL bonus. The user with the nickname Mick correctly guessed the number of entries in MILLIONS Online and received a $1,000 PPL bonus.
For those planning to attend, it is recommended to book accommodations early, as January is peak ski season in Sochi. The event will feature seven tournaments, including the main event, WPT Opener, and WPT DeepStacks. The full schedule can be found on the partypoker website.
