World Series of Poker's Largest Live Event Ever to Hit London

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to host its largest ever live Circuit event in London, UK. The WSOP Super Circuit London festival, scheduled between 27 July and 13 August, will take place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair.

The event marks a significant milestone as the largest WSOP Circuit event in history. The festival will feature a variety of exciting games and tournaments, including a Mystery Million bounty event with a £560 buy-in and nine flights. Additionally, there will be high-stakes poker games with buy-ins of £2,200 and £5,300, offering prizes of £250,000 and £500,000 respectively. A Super High Roller tournament with a £10,400 buy-in and a prize of £500,000 will also be part of the event.

Players will have the opportunity to win gold WSOP Circuit rings and compete for over £7 million in prizes across various games. The event includes two Main Events: one with a £1,100 entry fee and a guaranteed £1 million prize, and another with a £3,300 entry fee and a guaranteed £3 million prize. The WSOP Super Circuit London event is a continuation of the WSOP's rich history, which began with the first tournament in 1970, spearheaded by casino owner and poker enthusiast Benny Binion. The first WSOP included a variety of games such as five- and seven-card stud, lowball, razz, and the classic Texas hold'em. The winner of the first WSOP was decided by a participant vote and the title was awarded to Johnny Moss.
