SCOOP 2025 Leaderboard Winner: Vitaly's Journey to Poker Success

Vitaly, known as Сморчокконический on forums, won the SCOOP 2025 leaderboard on PokerStars. His journey to success began in 2022 when he started playing PokerStars series tournaments with a focus on leaderboards. Inspired by watching Zapahzamazki's streams, Vitaly was drawn to the competitive atmosphere and the challenge of leaderboard events.

Vitaly's strategy involves playing a variety of mixed games tournaments. He has a ROI of 50-60% in the evening Octopus for $55 and earns $1,000-$1,500 per month from these tournaments outside of series. His preference for PokerStars is clear, but he occasionally plays on Pokerdom due to software issues with other rooms. Vitaly refuses to play on GG Poker due to their casino-like structures and conditions, stating that he believes poker is a game of skill and that GG Poker's approach goes against this principle.

Vitaly's favorite mixed game is 2-7 Triple Draw, which he appreciates for its strategic variety. During SCOOP 2025, he played high roller tournaments with tickets worth $10,000 and $5,000, showcasing his skill and dedication to the game. His journey is a testament to the thrill of competition and the strategic depth of poker.
