Victor's High-Stakes Poker Journey: Online Strategy and Offline Insights

Victor, a seasoned poker player, shared his insights into high-stakes online poker during an interview. He plays without selecting specific opponents, focusing on high-stakes games and enjoying the action. Victor played approximately 100,000 hands in NL2k+ in 2019, which he considers a significant distance for such limits.

Victor prefers to play NL5k and higher, avoiding lower limits due to the lack of motivation and energy conservation. He does not analyze his offline poker hands but maintains his skills through online play. This approach allows him to keep his game sharp and ready for high-stakes action.

Victor focuses on PLO and tournament strategies, using solvers and studying ICM and push-fold situations. He enjoys deep-stack games and prefers high-stakes action, finding shallow-stack games less appealing. His deep understanding of the game and strategic approach make him a formidable opponent in both online and offline settings.
