Unibet Names Sergey Rybachenko as Russian Poker Ambassador
Unibet has appointed Sergey Rybachenko as their 'poker ambassador' in Russia. This appointment marks a significant step for Unibet, which has long been interested in the Russian market but has yet to have a 'poker ambassador' in the country.
Tatyana Zaets, Unibet's representative for the Russian market, highlighted Sergey Rybachenko's significant influence on the development of poker in Russia. She noted that Rybachenko was one of the first players to gain substantial fame, particularly through his online achievements, and has participated in numerous offline tournaments worldwide. His extensive experience made him an ideal choice for the role.
Unibet plans to launch a website, Unibet Poker Ambassadors, featuring all their ambassadors. Sergey Rybachenko's contract with Unibet includes playing in various European tournaments and maintaining a blog. He is currently leading the Unibet Open tournament in Budapest, which can be followed live on the Unibet Open website.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
