TylerRM Exposes Poker Bots in WPN: Community in Shock, Rooms Silent

TylerRM, a prominent figure in the poker community, has opened a thread on 2+2 discussing his investigation into poker bots on the Winning Poker Network (WPN). His findings have sent shockwaves through the community, with many players and observers expressing concern over the prevalence of bots in online poker.

TylerRM has been reporting detailed accounts of bot activity to WPN's security service, but has received no response. He provided links to hands from MTT and cash games, encouraging the community to analyze and verify the bot activity. The investigation revealed that bots change their strategy approximately every three months but generally stick to an exploitative strategy. TylerRM noted that bots can create over 100 accounts per month, requiring multiple waves of blocking to eradicate them.

TylerRM stated that the bot issue is not limited to WPN and that bots are also present in Ignition and GG Poker. He emphasized that poker is a game played by people, not machines, and that bots contradict the essence of poker. TylerRM provided lists of nicknames involved in MTT and cash games on NL400+. You-mad-bro, a regular in high-stakes cash games, confirmed the presence of bots at almost every NL1k table on ACR. Ggbruuce, a respected poster on 2+2, suggested that ACR should hire TylerRM to combat bots.
