Triton Super High Roller Series: Patrick Antonius Wins Big on Cyprus
The Triton Super High Roller Series on Cyprus has been a thrilling event, featuring some of the world's top poker players and high-stakes action.
The first tournament, with a $25,000 buy-in, was won by Patrick Antonius. This tournament set a new record for the most entries in Triton's history with 131 entries (34 re-entries). Notable Russian-speaking players included Alexander Zubov, Gia Shkhulukhia, Andrei Zaichenko, Nikita Kuznetsov, Artem VeZhenkov, Arseny Karmatsky, Artur Martirosyan, Nikita Bodiakovsky, Vyacheslav Buldygin, and Victor Kudinov.
One of the highlights of the event was when Tony Dji proposed a dark showdown to his neighbors, and Akan Fattahi agreed. Additionally, Tony Dji, Phil Nagi, Espen Jorstad, Nacho Barbero, and Rob Yong contributed $5,000 each to a satellite event, which was won by Espen Jorstad.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
