Triton Poker Sochi Postponed Indefinitely Due to Coronavirus
The Triton Poker Sochi series, originally planned to take place from March 1 to 14, 2023, has been postponed indefinitely. The organizers cited the coronavirus pandemic as the reason for the delay. On February 3, Russia reported 156,000 new coronavirus cases, raising concerns about the safety of holding large events.
This is not the first time that the Triton Poker series has been affected by the pandemic. Earlier, the series was moved from Bali to Sochi, with high rollers from around the world planning to attend. However, the latest surge in cases has forced the organizers to reconsider their plans.
With the postponement of Triton Poker Sochi, many are now wondering about the fate of the EPT 2022 series, which is scheduled to take place in Sochi from March 18 to 27 under the auspices of PokerStars. As of now, there have been no official announcements regarding its cancellation or postponement.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
