Tom Dwan and Justin Bonomo Take Bold Bets on WSOP
Tom Dwan, known for his cash game prowess, has announced his intention to participate in all tournaments of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). In a blog post, Dwan proposed several betting odds, including 3.25 to 1 on winning a bracelet this year, including WSOP Europe. He also offered 2 to 1 odds on winning two bracelets in three years, with specific conditions for wins in London and Vegas. Additionally, Dwan is taking bets against any player on the sum of winnings in dollars, including or excluding London. Bets below $5000 are not accepted, and Dwan expects the bracelet this year to be worth at least $2 million.
Justin Bonomo, who recently moved to Panorama Towers in Las Vegas, is taking bets on his neighbors winning a bracelet. Bonomo's list includes 67 people, and he is offering 10 to 1 odds on any of them winning a bracelet. Notable neighbors include Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Barry Greenstein, Isaac Haxton, Scott Seiver, Brock Parker, Liz Lieou, Nenad Medić, Sean Dib, Liv Boeree, Lex Veldhuis, Jimmy Fricke, Brian Rast, Michael DeMichele, Sorel Mizzich, and Jennifer Tilly. The minimum bet is $1000.
Both Dwan and Bonomo's betting proposals add an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming WSOP, with high stakes and notable players involved.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
