Timothy Adams Triumphs at EPT Prague €50,000 Super High Roller
Timothy Adams won the €50,000 Super High Roller at EPT Prague, earning €742,200. This victory added to his already impressive lifetime live tournament earnings, which now exceed $25 million. The tournament attracted 45 entries, with six players making the money.
The event featured a stellar field, including US high-stakes pros Nick Petrangelo and Chris Brewer, as well as Turkey’s Orpen Kiscikoglu, known as OrptheTurk on Twitter. Kiscikoglu had promised to match donations up to €10,000 for the Ukraine humanitarian crisis, adding to the excitement of the tournament.
Adrian Mateos started as the chip leader but faced a challenging session that saw a dozen double-ups. His aggressive play ultimately led to his elimination. Chris Brewer was eliminated by Timothy Adams' flush, and Nick Petrangelo finished in third place. Orpen Kiscikoglu finished in second place, with Adams securing the top spot.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
