Sven Andersson Wins $480,000 in Powerfest Super High Roller Tournament
The Powerfest Super High Roller tournament with a buy-in of 25,500$ concluded with Sven Andersson winning 480,000$. The tournament was held on PartyPoker and attracted 64 entries. Matthias Eibinger, Joao Vieira, and Sami Kelo were among the players who made it to the prize zone but did not reach the final table.
The tournament was streamed live on the Twitch channel of PartyPoker. Luke Gilles and Jonathan Saks-Skovsen went all-in with pocket pairs and both lost to Andras Nemet's A-K. When three players remained, Sven Andersson had 50% of all the chips.
In the final hand, Markus Leikkonen attempted a bold bluff with 7-7 against Sven Andersson's Q-K, but failed. The Powerfest tournaments will disappear from the PartyPoker lobby on April 28.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
