Sean Rafael Dominates Super High Roller Bowl: Pot-Limit Omaha IV
Sean Rafael made a significant mark in the poker world by winning the Super High Roller Bowl: Pot-Limit Omaha IV tournament, earning $1,150,000. This victory is the biggest live tournament result of his career and the most significant trophy in his collection. Rafael's dominant performance included recording six of the last seven eliminations of the tournament, including four of his five final table opponents.
Joao Simao, who had been on a winning streak, was the last player standing in Rafael’s way. Despite Simao's recent success, including winning almost $10 million at the recent Triton Jeju festival, he could not halt Rafael’s momentum. The fourth edition of the PLO Super High Roller Bowl drew 32 entries, producing a $3.2 million prize pool. Rafael had just over 4.9 million chips at the end of day 2, with Joao Simao (1.415 million) and Lautaro Guerra (1.125 million) bagging up seven figures.
Cesar Garcia was the first of the two Spanish players to go, eliminated in sixth place ($190,000). Lautaro Guerra was eliminated in fifth place ($255,000). Talal Shakerchi was eliminated in fourth place ($350,000). Richard Gryko finished in third place ($480,000).

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
