Scientific Games Names Ray Anderson as Interim CFO After Nick Negro's Departure

Scientific Games, the world’s largest lottery games company, powering more than 100 lottery operators across the globe, announced a strategic change to its senior-level team. Nick Negro, Scientific Games’ Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the company on May 15 after holding the role for three years. Nick Negro helped navigate a range of challenges over the past three years. His extensive experience and proven leadership played a key role during his tenure, which is viewed as a successful period for Scientific Games.

Pat McHugh, Scientific Games’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said: 'Nick has been a strong member of our leadership team and an advocate for the potential of Scientific Games.' During his time with the company, he significantly strengthened our financial and procurement organizations and helped position Scientific Games for continued growth.

Nick Negro decided to part ways with the company to pursue a new opportunity based in Chicago, where he will be closer to his family. In light of the upcoming change to the company’s senior-level team, an interim CFO was selected. Scientific Games appointed Ray Anderson, an executive with more than three decades of experience, for the interim CFO role. At the same time, the company has initiated a search for a permanent CFO, a press release reveals. Ray Anderson accumulated significant knowledge within the finance vertical, holding major roles at KPMG in Europe, Asia and the U.S.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
