Rounders 2 Script: Gusano and Damon's Poker Adventure Continues
The script titled "ROUNDERS 2 (Original Script)" by LOBACHEVSKY is the winning entry of the VII edition of the Duelo de Escritores de Poker-Red. The story features two main characters, Gusano, played by Edward Norton, and Matt Damon, played by himself.
Damon arrives at a nursing home in Picassent to pick up Gusano, whom he hasn't seen in 30 years. As they drive, Damon's car plays a cassette of “The bug” by Dire Straits, adapted by Los Chunguitos. The duo reminisces about their past and Damon recounts his recent poker adventures.
Damon shares his experience at the Main Event in Montecarlo, where he faced difficulties due to flatulence and strategic errors. He mentions playing against Johnny Chan and winning a hand against him. Gusano and Damon also discuss the differences in poker terminology and customs between Spain and France, adding a layer of humor to their conversation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
